Subscription Renewals
Companies involved in subscription marketing work immensely
hard to establish and enhance their subscriber base but
it is surprising how few are properly aware of the subs
that fall out of the bottom and, more importantly, how
to stop it happening.
It is often said that a new customer is ten times more
difficult to recruit than to retain, yet they continue
to fall through the hole even though a single phone call,
strategically timed, can do much to ensure retention.
Of course, not all lapsed subscribers can be retained,
but a sizeable portion can and it doesn't take massive
discounts or expensive add-on offers to do it.
The most important ingredient is a friendly personal call
designed to concentrate on the importance of the individual
subscriber and on making them feel a vital member of your
"club".
